Welcome to McKinley Hill School's Official Website!
McKinley Hill International School was founded in 2006. It was originally located at Pallocan West. In 2009, the school moved to its new site under its new name and management. The school was renamed McKinley Hill School and Leadership Academy for Children-Batangas and opened the new school year with a new administration, new breed of mentors, new curriculum, new ideas, and new home situated at McKinley Hill Drive, Don Florencio Caedo Village, Kumintang Ibaba, Batangas City. Mrs. Maria Luevina L. Sofia Perez, President, together with the members of the Board of Trustees: Dr. Romulo L. Rosales - Vice President, Dr. H. Lalaine P. Burog - Corporate Secretary, Dr. Florante B. Comia - Treasurer and Ms. Raquel R. Qui - Member envisioned a school anchored on a philosophy that no child is left behind.
In 2011, The School Board felt the need to add more rooms in anticipation of increasing enrolment. Thus, McKinley Hill, through the able leadership of its president, Mrs. Leuvinia L. Perez, built two more wings to address the growing needs of the school. One wing housed the high school students. The classrooms also serve as a Multi-Purpose Hall for the school's varied activities. The other wing serves as the canteen and the Technology and Livelihood Education area. In the same year, McKinley Hill School, received government recognition for the Elite High School Department after having complied with DepEd's requirements.
The school worked hard to meet the prerequisites set by depEd for the approval of both Preschool and Grade School Departments. In January 2012, McKinley Hill School received government recognition for both Preschool and Grade School Departments.
Before the start of the academic year 2012-2013, a new set of officers for the board were elected, they are as follows: Dr. Isidro P. Burog, Jr. – President, Dr. Cherie Judith M. Comia – Vice President, Dr. H. Lalaine P. Burog – Corporate Secretary, Dr. Florante B. Comia – Treasurer, Mrs. Maria Leuvina Sofia L. Perez, Ms. Raquel R. Qui and Mr. Sonny Paul Anthony L. Perez, Members. As a seasoned leader and a former educator, Dr. Burog, the new elected school president consulted and coordinated with the School Head and Consultant, Dr. Judith D. Aldaba for a program that will best serve the academic needs of the students. Dr. Aldaba lost no time in finding one and the teachers were trained in summer as a preparation for the implementation of technology-based programs in Science, Mathematics, English and Computer that will benefit the students in almost all areas of learning.
In the same year, McKinley Hill School also launched the school's official website, www.mckinleyhillschoolbatangas.edu.ph The School Board also deems it necessary to add more play equipment for the small children and have an area where the bigger students can play freely. Thus, the adjoining lot was cleared and a fence was built for the students's physical activities. The entire campus was also landscaped for safety, healthy and aesthetic reasons. With its continuous growth and progress in both academic and physical aspects, the school is starting to attract parents both here and abroad to enrol their children in McKinley Hill School-Batangas.
